This privacy policy explains how the Hours Calculator for Payroll Online (the "tool") handles information. Your privacy is designed into the tool from the start: it is built to compute payroll hours without collecting anything from you.

1. 100% local, browser-based processing

Every calculation — including your clock-in and clock-out times, breaks, hourly rate, overtime settings and results — runs entirely inside your own web browser on your device. The tool has no backend server and no database. The times and pay figures you enter are never transmitted, uploaded, or shared with us or any third party.

2. No personal data collection

• No account, sign-up, or login is required.
• We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or location.
• The information you type into the calculator stays in memory on your device and is gone as soon as you close or refresh the page. It is not stored.

3. Cookies and tracking

The tool itself does not use cookies, web beacons, analytics scripts, or any other tracking technology, and it does not build an advertising profile about you.

4. Third-party advertising

If third-party advertising (such as Google AdSense) is displayed on this site in the future, advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve relevant ads and measure ad performance. Those cookies are controlled by the advertising partners and are governed by their own privacy policies. The calculator inputs remain local to your browser and are never shared with advertisers.

5. Hosting

This site is hosted as a static website on Cloudflare Pages. Like most hosting providers, Cloudflare may automatically process basic server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps) for security, fraud prevention, and infrastructure reliability. This data is processed by Cloudflare under its own privacy policy and is not linked to your calculator inputs.

6. Children's privacy

The tool is a general-purpose work calculator and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

7. Changes to this policy

If this policy is updated, the new version will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date.
